Collective Brains collects information that is, provided by Users to Collective Brains, created during the use of the Collective Brains Platform, obtained from other sources such as a third party.

Users provide information through creating an account on the Collective Brains Platform. This may include information on the Users’ name, email, phone number, login credentials, address, pictures, payment or banking information, identification verification documents, degrees, and certificates.
Collective Brains may collect background check and identify verification such as the Users’ criminal record.
Collective Brains may collect information that Users provide through feedback, complaints, or general communication with Collective Brains.
Information Created During the Use of the Collective Brains Platform
The information created by Using the Collective Brains Platform may be collected by Collective Brains. Information relating to payment history, payment methods, and amounts charged and paid. This can also include date and times that a User accesses the Collective Brains Platform, and history of services provided to or received by another User.
Some of this information may be collected through cookies. You should consult your web browser(s) to modify your cookie settings. Your experience on the Collective Brains Platform may be impacted if you if you delete or choose not to accept cookies from us.
The Devices that Users use to access the Collective Brains Platform also provide information. Such information can include, device or hardware models, IP address, and operating systems and their versions.
The Collective Brains Platform may enable Users to communicate with each other. Such information shared through the Collective Brains Platform between Users may be collected.

Collective Brains may collect information from third parties such as from vendors who verify a Users’ identity, background information, and Mentor qualifications.

This can include investigating issues raised by Users, responding to a user complaint or issue

When required by law or regulatory body, Collective Brains may be obligated to use Information to respond to such legal requirements.
Sharing Information
Collective Brains does not sell your information. In order for the Collective Brains Platform to function, we may need to share information with other Users, third parties, or service providers.
When sharing information with another User, Collective Brains may share your contact or background information in order to facilitate a request or possible request for Mentorship Services. We may share reviews or complaints made by one user to another user.
As a Mentor, your information regarding your background, credentials, and contact information may be shared to other Users. As a User, your contact information and information you provide relating to your Mentorship Services request may be shared to another User.
With your permission or upon your direction, Collective Brains may share your information with a third party for other purposes within the scope of such permission.
Storing Information
Collective Brains retains information as long as necessary to maintain the Collective Brains Platform. This means as long as you have a User account, your information relating to such account will be retained. Information relating to payments will be retained for at least seven years in order to perform necessary business functions and tax obligations.
Although Collective Brains takes reasonable measures to store and secure User information, we cannot guarantee the security of such information.
Your Rights and Controls Relating to Your Information
Subscription Emails:
You can unsubscribe to any commercial or promotional emails by selecting the unsubscribe option and following the instructions. This does not unsubscribe you from transactional emails.
Profile information:
The information you provide to Collective Brains to create your User account can be viewed and edited on your profile and account settings. If you would like to delete your account, you can select the delete account option in your account settings. Your account will not be deleted if there is any type dispute related to your account, such disputes may be relating to payments or fraud. In addition, in the case of any legal or regulatory requirements, we may not be able to delete your account. If you would like to delete specific personal information on your account, or opt out of having any of your information shared to a third party, you may email us at [email protected] with your full name, email address, phone number, with a description of what information you would like to delete.
Once a year, free of charge, you may request information about our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
The Collective Brains Platform is not for children and Collective Brains does not collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we find out that we have personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information. In the case that the Collective Brains Platform has links to a third-party website, Collective Brains is not responsible for any information collected on those websites.

In the case of any material changes, you will be notified through the Collective Brains Platform or another method of communication.
