In the realm of HR and organizational development, Lisa Failla is known as a seasoned leader with a remarkable track record of shaping winning people strategies. Over the course of  her career, Lisa has successfully navigated complex environments, fostering collaboration across diverse organizations and launching HR initiatives that align with strategic  organizational goals. 

Beginning her journey as an HR Consultant and Executive Mentor, Lisa's commitment  to excellence became evident as she provided invaluable guidance to media,  entertainment, and nonprofit entities in the areas of people development and organizational structure. Her keen insight and strategic prowess set the stage for her subsequent roles, where she continued to make a profound impact. In her role as EVP  Human Resources at Translation & UnitedMasters, Lisa spearheaded the integration of  HR operations across two distinct business units. Her expertise was instrumental in addressing intricate organizational challenges and partnering with finance to align the compensation frameworks. Lisa's contribution  to First Look Media as SVP Human Resources underscored her ability to advise executive  teams on optimizing organizational structures for operational effectiveness in a media start-up with 6 business units including film, TV, podcasting, journalism, and advocacy. Lisa's impact extended to the early stage, technology-driven media company Viggle, Inc. where she helped build the business from the ground to a successful acquisition in five years. Warner Music Group witnessed Lisa's transformative leadership during her tenure as VP Human Resources. There, she played a pivotal role in designing and implementing company wide goal setting, talent management, and professional development processes. She navigated the challenges  of a digital business transformation, providing crucial support to the executive team and  facilitating key programs such as the WMG Charitable Foundation and employee-led  sustainability initiatives. In her role as Director of Human Resources at BMG  Entertainment, Lisa displayed resilience and strategic acumen during a period of North American restructuring. At the intersection of passion and purpose, Lisa's role as  Director of Channel Relations/Program Director at MTV Networks left an indelible  mark. Architect of the operating structure for the VH1 Save the Music program, she not only established a strategic corporate social responsibility program but also increased employee engagement through innovative fundraising and volunteer opportunities. Her  certifications in ethical decision-making for non-profits from Santa Clara University and Six Sigma Green Belt exemplify her dedication to professional growth and excellence.
