Evelyn Jacir-Lovo stands out as a pillar of excellence and leadership in public administration. She is an international consultant with over three decades dedicated to the development, implementation, and improvement of public policies. Since 2016, she has played a key role as an International Consultant, where her work has been fundamental in designing and executing large-scale policies, particularly focused on social development, education, and institutional strengthening. Her capability for strategic planning and skills in results-based management are reflected in her comprehensive proposals, leaving an indelible mark in her consultancy work for entities such as ECLAC, the European Union, and the Secretariat for Central American Integration (SICA). 

In her current position, she utilizes her vast experience to provide key insights on the complexities of public policy, contributing to the socioeconomic development of the hemisphere, especially in Central America. Evelyn has also made her mark on multiple platforms, leading the creation of regional entities such as the Central American Council for Higher Education (CCA), the Central American Council for Consumer Protection (CONCADECO), and the Hemispheric Network for Safe Consumption and Health (OAS-PAHO), among others. She has had a substantial role in the academic sphere, having been a member of the Senior Council of FLACSO and the Advisory Council for the “State of the Region Report,” where she actively drives the design and implementation of initiatives in Latin America. Her career includes a decisive participation in social development and inclusion, holding international positions such as Director of the Department of Social Development and Employment at the Organization of American States. Nationally, she has served roles such as Minister of Education, Director-General of Economic and Social Policy, and President of the Consumer Protection Agency in El Salvador. Her commitment to social inclusion is evident in positions such as her advisory role in the USAID Municipal Governance Project, focusing on creating safe spaces for vulnerable populations. Her tenure at Creative Associates International further highlights her dedication to gender equality and social inclusion in projects.
